01 / WHO

Ojixa is new. The engineering behind it is not.

The firm is young on purpose. The record is not: production systems for Fortune 500 platforms, national-scale infrastructure, and three products of my own that the team and I keep running. One architect who owns the decisions, senior engineers who build and operate.

Martin Chuka

Martin Chuka

PRINCIPAL

Twelve years shipping production software, most of it on systems that could not go down: a Fortune 500 commerce platform serving millions, a national-scale microservices backbone, and a live migration of millions of records with no data loss.

Most of that was spent inside other people's engineering organisations, most recently as a Software Architect at Crossover. Ojixa exists so the same work is available directly, without an agency layer.

How it works in practice: I take the problem, write the architecture, and stay accountable for it. A senior team builds and operates alongside me. You get one person who owns the decisions and a bench deep enough that the work does not stop when one of us is asleep.

FIELD NOTES

Latest reasoning.

Start here. Client work is under NDA, but the decisions behind it are not, and how a shop chooses is the only thing you can judge before you hire it.

03 / WORK
CASE STUDIES

Systems that hold money, and hold up.

Four things we do, and the work that proves each one. Client engagements are under NDA and described by shape rather than name; the products are mine, and you can go use them.

PRODUCTS I OWN OR CO-FOUNDED, BUILT WITH THE TEAM
Mola VISIT MEETMOLA.COM

Parental leave, handled. Role-aware flows for employees, managers, and HR admins, on top of a policy engine that models each company's own leave and benefit rules. Multi-tenant from the first commit, so an HR team can run it without a spreadsheet or a lawyer on standby.

SECTOR
HR-tech
STATE
Private beta, pilot-ready
HARD PART
Every company's leave policy is different.
ON CALL
Our engineers. I own the architecture.
MoniRef VISIT MONIREF.COM

A payment referee for Nigerian businesses: a neutral party that holds the customer's money until the goods arrive, so sellers get paid upfront and buyers keep their protection. KYC, dispute handling, and settlement, without the paperwork that usually comes with holding someone else's money.

Fintech

HARD PART
Custody and compliance. It is fintech.
ON CALL
Our engineers. I own the architecture.
FINTECH, MARKETPLACES AND CUSTODY

Hold the money until both sides are satisfied.

Marketplaces that hold and release the money, end to end. The hard part is never the booking flow, it is what happens when someone says the work was not done.

COMMERCE AT SCALE

Replatform without losing a month of revenue.

Custom and headless storefronts, and replatforms on live traffic. The cutover is planned before it is run, not repaired afterwards.

REGAINED #1 RANKINGS · THOUSANDS OF ORDERS A DAY · MILLIONS OF VISITORS A WEEK

BigCommerce migration and SEO recovery

Eight million orders and customer records moved off Volusion on live traffic. Chunked migration with per-chunk rollback, parallel pipelines, and product displays tuned for LCP, INP and CLS.

PLATFORMS UNDER LOAD

Still standing on the day everyone shows up at once.

Multi-tenant SaaS and high-concurrency platforms, including the parts that get expensive later: permissions, billing, audit trails, admin tooling.

REGULATED AND MOBILE INTERFACES

Fast, and correct, on the phone your customer actually owns.

iOS and Android alongside the web, built for the devices your customers carry and the access rules your sector imposes.

Twenty-plus engagements led in total. Full technical write-ups on any of them, sent on request.

04 / METHOD

No line-by-line spec required.

Bring the goal. We write the plan, and you own it whether or not we build it. The risk we remove is the six figures most teams spend before anything is deployable. Phase four has no end date.

  1. PHASE 01

    Frame

Thirty minutes on a call. We leave with the problem in one paragraph you agree with, and a view on whether we are the right shop.

  2. PHASE 02

    Architect

We do the thinking before the building, and write it down. This is Model 0, and it is the only phase you can buy on its own.

  3. PHASE 03

    Build

Weekly deployable increments in your staging environment. Progress is something you can click.

  4. PHASE 04

    Operate

We stay on. Monitoring, runbooks, and the pager, run by the people who wrote it. Handover to your own team happens when you have hired one, not at launch.

05 / ENGAGEMENT

Diagnosis first, then a shape.

Floors and ranges, not quotes. Cost moves with scope and integration count, so the first thing we sell is the work that establishes both. You keep that document either way, including when we tell you we are the wrong shop.

A lean read on what is slowing your store.

Two fields. A senior engineer looks at your site and sends back your Core Web Vitals plus the few issues actually costing you speed and conversions. No charge, no sales call, and no obligation to hire us afterwards.

06 / INTAKE

This is where we both decide.

Not a lead form. Four answers is what we need to tell you whether this is our kind of problem, and to write you something useful if it is. Two of the six are optional and we will not chase you for them.
